The Wyndmere High School "Buy A Brick" project was started in 1962, when the current high school was constructed. The object of the program was to raise money for the All School Reunion and the needs of the school. Purchased brass plates were fixed to the interior hallway brick blocks of the school for all to see. Years of maintenance and painting the halls have not allowed the plates to remain where they began, but yet they have survived and were polished and placed on beautiful wood plaques at the entrance to the school.

The Wyndmere Alumni Association has purchased many needed items for the school. In the past, those items have included stage drapes (many years ago) and metal gates for the hallways. In 1995, funds built the brick marquee in front of the school, and in 2000, money earned from the reunion purchased a much needed PA system for the gymnasium. The school could again use our help in purchasing stage drapes, choir and band risers, new lockers, and many more items.
